We are psychologists conducting research
on how oppression shapes and influences
Black women’s identities, attitudes, and behaviors.
We take a strengths-based approach to this research,
examining how Black women define themselves for themselves,
despite discrimination and marginalization.

Graduate student Elizabete gave an invited talk organized by Nerd Nite Duluth and Cafe Scientifique about her first-year project on Black girl’s pornography use and sexual health outcomes, as well as led a workshop on porn literacy and adult sex ed.
